Fertilizer Trader – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Fertilizer Trader to join a leading international trading and investment group in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage the complete trade lifecycle for fertilizer and mineral commodities, working closely with senior leadership and global counterparties.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and execute profitable trading opportunities across fertilizer and mineral markets.
• Manage sourcing, procurement, sales, logistics and contract execution from origin to destination.
• Build and maintain relationships with producers, suppliers, distributors, traders and end‑users worldwide.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Monitor market trends, price movements, freight markets and supply‑demand dynamics.
• Coordinate with logistics, shipping and operations teams to ensure seamless trade execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fertilizer, chemical, mineral or agricultural commodity trading.
• Proven track record of managing international transactions and commercial negotiations.
• Strong understanding of trade finance, Incoterms, letters of credit and international logistics.
• Established relationships with suppliers and buyers across the Middle East, CIS, India and broader Asian markets.
