Field Engineer - Print Services

About the role

GCG Enterprise Solutions, established in 1982 as an Office Automation Solutions provider for the UAE and the wider region, is looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join its Print Services team. The role covers installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of office and commercial print machines across major OEM brands such as Fujifilm, Kyocera, HP, Xerox, Ricoh, Konica Minolta and Canon, with hands-on work at customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission Fujifilm, Kyocera and other OEM print machines and MFDs, including network connectivity, drivers, scanning workflows and user authentication, then hand over to clients
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and fix print quality, paper handling, firmware and software issues, using genuine OEM parts and testing equipment after service
• Answer on-site and remote service calls within SLA times, advise customers and escalate unresolved issues to the Team Lead or OEM support
• Complete job sheets, service reports and parts usage records in the CRM, update meter readings and consumables usage, and keep an organised engineer kit
• Follow HSE standards and client site safety protocols

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Computer, IT or a related field; engineering or IT degree preferred
• 3-6 years of field service experience on office or commercial printers across one or more major OEM brands
• Valid UAE driving licence
• Desired: direct experience with Fujifilm and/or Kyocera in the UAE/GCC, familiarity with MPS-managed print and SLA contracts, and Arabic

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of multi-brand print and MFD equipment and fault diagnosis
• Proficiency in service management / CRM systems
• Good communication skills
• Desired: knowledge of network printing, scan workflows, print drivers, fleet management and remote monitoring tools
