Field Service Engineer – Dubai

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to join its Field Service Operations Department in Dubai. You will be responsible for delivering on‑site and service‑center support for high‑speed separators, decanters, plate heat exchangers and related rotating equipment, ensuring customers receive reliable and safe service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot and maintain high‑speed separators, decanters and plate heat exchangers.
• Perform electrical and PLC (EPC, 2‑Touch, Basic & Plus) diagnostics and repairs.
• Conduct audits, service‑agreement activities and generate detailed service reports.
• Provide technical advice, training and remote guidance to customers and internal teams.
• Identify service business opportunities and support sales with technical solutions.
• Document all visits, observations and customer commitments accurately.

Required profile

• Technical background with experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow Alfa Laval quality and safety procedures.
• Customer‑focused attitude with good communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work on‑site.

Required skills

• High‑speed separators, decanters and plate heat exchangers.
• Electrical and PLC troubleshooting (EPC, 2‑Touch, Basic & Plus controls).
• Mechanical troubleshooting, stripping, cleaning, repair, assembly and testing of rotating equipment.
• Installation, commissioning and audit execution.
• Use of Alfa Laval service tools (OneService, Lead app, HSE Near Miss app, Workday, Sensei IB).
