Field Service Engineer – Water Technologies (UAE)

About the role

Veolia is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its Water Technologies team in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on delivering on‑site chemical treatment programs, troubleshooting water and process systems, and providing technical support to major accounts across the Abu Dhabi region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct chemical testing and follow‑up on treatment programs at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot cooling, boiler, water & waste, and industrial process units such as CDU, VDU, desalter and ethylene cracker treatment.
• Perform site surveys, start‑up and commissioning of dosing systems.
• Diagnose larger issues, coordinate with technical teams, and carry out minor assembly tasks.
• Execute pilot and field trials when required.
• Inspect customer sites regularly and generate detailed reports using the company platform.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.

Required profile

• Professional experience in water and process treatment industries.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.
• Willingness to travel within the Abu Dhabi region; candidates residing in Ruwais or Mirfa are preferred.
