Field Services Engineer – Dubai

About the role

Rapiscan Systems is seeking a Field Services Engineer to install, commission, and support its X‑ray and Trace detection systems across the UAE and MEA region. The role involves on‑site work, ensuring equipment operates reliably for security applications at ports, borders and high‑threat facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and provide service support for Rapiscan X‑ray and Trace systems.
• Conduct site surveys, produce professional reports and perform system fitting.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve faults; carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Document service activities, engineering change requests and update service data in the functional database.
• Perform failure analysis, recommend spare‑part requirements and submit service and non‑conformance reports.
• Interact daily with operators, technicians and BHS managers, ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Provide feedback to engineering, product line management and quality assurance and support ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Technical background with experience in field service or maintenance of detection/security equipment.
• Ability to work independently on‑site across the UAE/MEA region.
• Strong documentation skills and adherence to health & safety standards.
• Effective communication with customers and internal teams.
