Finance & Accounts Manager

About the role

Alkady Cars FZE is seeking a Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the finance function, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic decision‑making. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the finance and accounting department, supervising the accounting team.
• Establish accounting policies, internal controls, and a clear chart of accounts.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing cycles.
• Prepare and review profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash‑flow statements and management reports.
• Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, cash‑flow projections and perform variance analysis.
• Monitor working capital, liquidity, customer advances, supplier balances and collections.
• Manage bank relationships, KYC reviews, banking facilities and guarantees.
• Oversee UAE VAT return preparation, corporate tax calculations, and compliance deadlines.
• Coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise payroll, fixed‑asset accounting, inventory accounting and related documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum ten years of finance and accounting experience in the UAE.
• Proven senior‑level experience as an Accounts Manager, Finance Manager or Chief Accountant.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax preparation and submission.
• Strong track record dealing directly with UAE banks, external auditors and tax consultants.
