Finance Analyst - Real Estate Financing Affairs

About the role
The Finance Analyst will support the Department of Finance by preparing cash‑flow and statistical reports, conducting financial analysis and modelling for the real‑estate portfolio, and ensuring ledger compliance with IPSAS standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the entire real‑estate portfolio.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate with property managers to obtain periodic financial updates.
- Produce monthly statistical reports and cash‑flow forecasts for the portfolio.
- Oversee payment of expenses such as management fees, maintenance, taxes and insurance.
- Monitor rent collection, fees and other revenue streams.
- Reconcile bank accounts, loan statements and portfolio transactions.
- Assist in developing annual budgets and variance analysis against forecasts.
- Ensure all transactions and ledgers comply with IPSAS and relevant accounting standards.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors for periodic audits.
