Finance Controller

About the role

TechnipFMC is seeking a Finance Controller to join its UAE team, responsible for managing the period‑end close process and providing strong financial support for the aftermarket ME Geomarket business unit. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards, legal regulations, and drives operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with project and functional managers on costing, forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Manage monthly revenue, margin and invoicing forecasts for the business unit.
• Identify and analyse operational improvement opportunities and cost overruns.
• Lead change initiatives to deliver financial benefits.
• Maximise cash‑flow and performance through robust financial controls.
• Maintain compliance with company financial standards and lead internal/external audits.
• Prepare monthly forecasts for assigned legal entities and business units.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and quarterly P&L reviews.
• Monitor asset utilisation and ensure proper usage.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation across assigned entities.

Required profile

• Accounting qualification.
• Solid knowledge of revenue and margin recognition, invoicing, cash‑flow and working capital.
• Experience in project accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
