Finance Director – FMCG (Dubai, UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director / Deputy CFO to lead the finance function for a large FMCG business in Dubai. The role provides end‑to‑end financial leadership, covering FP&A, reporting, consolidation, treasury and governance, while partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full finance function across FP&A, business finance, financial reporting, controllership and consolidation for multiple legal entities.
• Prepare and present board and lender packs, perform leverage and covenant analysis, and manage 13‑week cash‑flow reporting.
• Provide strategic financial insights, scenario analysis and recommendations to support commercial and operational decisions.
• Drive cost optimisation, profitability improvement and working‑capital enhancement.
• Ensure statutory accounting compliance, audit governance and robust financial controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, preferably in FMCG or a similarly complex, multi‑entity environment.
• Proven track record of leading finance teams and delivering high‑quality financial reporting to boards and lenders.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with CFOs, senior leaders, auditors and external partners.
