Finance Director

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director to lead the financial function of Big Ticket, a leading lottery and prize‑draw operator in the UAE. Reporting to the executive team, you will shape financial strategy, support commercial decisions and ensure rigorous governance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall financial strategy, aligning with the company’s long‑term vision.
• Partner with the Commercial and Lottery Directors on annual budgeting, quarterly re‑forecasts and multi‑year financial planning.
• Provide financial analysis for new initiatives, partnerships, investments and corporate development opportunities.
• Support pricing, prize structures, draw economics and marketing spend decisions with data‑driven insights.
• Oversee board and management reporting, KPI tracking and performance communication.
• Ensure integrity of financial statements in compliance with IFRS, statutory reporting and external audit requirements.
• Manage UAE corporate tax, VAT, treasury, cash management, working capital and prize‑fund liquidity.
• Lead anti‑money‑laundering, financial crime prevention and regulatory reporting to the GCGRA.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience, preferably in regulated gaming or entertainment sectors.
• Proven ability to work closely with executive teams and external stakeholders such as auditors, regulators and banks.
• Strong track record of driving financial strategy and supporting commercial growth.
• Deep understanding of UAE financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
