Finance Manager (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Finance Manager who is fluent in Arabic to join the executive leadership team of Laith Al Obaidi Group, a leading automotive and trading company in Dubai. The role will drive financial excellence across all business units and support the company’s growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts, monitor performance versus budget and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual closing and prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS or local GAAP.
• Analyse profitability by department or project, produce management reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Manage cash‑flow planning, banking relationships, receivables, payables and capital expenditures.
• Implement and maintain internal control systems, ensure tax and regulatory compliance and coordinate audits.
• Lead, coach and evaluate the finance and accounting team, fostering continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or CFA is highly desirable.
• 8–10 years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in automotive, retail or trading.
• Fluency in Arabic (essential) and strong English communication skills.
• Proven strategic thinking, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
