Finance Manager (Bilingual) – Education Cluster

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a bilingual Finance Manager to lead finance operations for its cluster of schools in the UAE. The role combines strategic financial planning with day‑to‑day management of budgeting, reporting and cash flow to support the group’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the school finance team in budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, fixed‑asset and general‑ledger reporting.
• Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts, present performance to principals and senior leadership, and drive cost‑optimization initiatives to meet EBITDA targets.
• Oversee statutory financial statement preparation, internal and external audit coordination, and implementation of new IFRS standards.
• Manage school billing, collection, and legal recovery processes, ensuring timely cash flow and minimal bad debt.
• Review and improve procurement‑to‑pay cycles, bank reconciliations, and ERP processes to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification with at least 10 years of experience, including 5 years in finance management for multi‑site or B2C operations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, set KPIs and conduct performance assessments.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems for finance and reporting.
