Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the planning, monitoring, and reporting of the approved operational and capital budgets for MBRSG. This role ensures compliance with financial policies, supports departmental budgeting, and safeguards the institution's financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the approved budget, monitoring expenditures and cash flow.
• Prepare regular financial reports on budgets, payables, receivables, and expenses for senior management.
• Coordinate budget dissemination to school departments and consolidate annual budget reports.
• Oversee payroll processing, general ledger maintenance, treasury functions, and asset depreciation.
• Review and approve invoices, supplier payments, and revenue collections including tuition fees.
• Conduct financial analysis of performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
• Liaise with the Department of Finance, external auditors, and grant donors.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of combined accounting and finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and month‑end/year‑end close processes.
• Proven ability to manage general ledger, payroll, and treasury operations.
