Finance Manager – UAE

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead finance business partnering, planning, reporting and governance for UAE Shoe Mart, a part of Landmark Group in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, feasibility studies, lease renewals and financial analysis to support strategic decisions and improve profitability.
• Partner with business, brand and corporate teams to monitor financial performance, identify opportunities and drive corrective actions.
• Manage legal agreements and commercial proposals, coordinating with legal and relevant stakeholders for timely reviews and approvals.
• Oversee monthly financial closing and reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Review key business KPIs such as sales, markdowns, productivity and overheads, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Tax, VAT, FAR, COC, CFO scorecard and other statutory and internal guidelines.
• Support implementation and maintenance of strong financial controls, policies and risk management practices.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 3–5 years of finance and operations experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Specific exposure to operational financial planning and budget control.
• 2–3 years of managerial experience in an independent finance, operations or commercial function.
