Finance Operations Coordinator - 1 Year Contract

About the role

The Finance Operations Coordinator will support supply‑chain finance activities and manage all related administrative tasks. This 1‑year contract position is based in Dubai and works closely with planning, buying, and logistics teams to ensure accurate vendor registration, payment processing, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with planning and buying teams to verify supplier information and bank details for accurate vendor registration.
• Provide weekly updates to planners on payment status and delivery schedules.
• Supply finance with data for drafting Letters of Credit (LC) and coordinate LC opening with suppliers.
• Track LC expiry dates, amend or cancel LCs according to seasonal commitments.
• Resolve shipment discrepancies, coordinate corrective actions with suppliers, planners, and warehouse.
• Submit claims for damages or returns and ensure timely accounting.
• Maintain organized documentation systems, records, files, and databases.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Commerce or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• High level of computer literacy with strong numeric and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
