Financial Accounting Manager – EMEA

About the role

The Finance team for EMEA is looking for a Financial Accounting Manager to lead end‑to‑end accounting, month‑end close and audit readiness for multiple entities across the Middle East and Africa. You will work closely with regional finance, tax, payroll and external auditors to ensure accurate statutory reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full cycle GL accounting and financial reporting for MEA legal entities.
• Coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules, GL reconciliations and provide evidence to resolve auditor queries.
• Oversee payroll accounting, reconcile payroll registers with the General Ledger and bank disbursements.
• Maintain fixed assets, perform bank reconciliations and ensure comprehensive monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Execute group and local month‑end closing in line with financial calendars, including fluctuation analysis and tax reviews.
• Ensure all account balances are audit‑ready and prepare supporting schedules and technical accounting explanations.
• Collaborate with tax, legal, transfer pricing, HR and finance business partners to resolve accounting issues and meet regional standards.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA with at least 5 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end GL accounting and statutory reporting for entities in the Middle East and Africa.
• Strong understanding of regional tax regimes (VAT, WHT, CIT) and ability to work with local tax teams.
