Financial Operations Manager

About the role

The Financial Operations Manager will own day‑to‑day financial operations for a Dubai‑based single family office, supporting multiple entities and the Principals' investment activities. This high‑ownership position blends treasury, banking, payroll, compliance and reporting in a fast‑paced proprietary investment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full invoice lifecycle, from collection to payment and filing.
• Oversee recurring payments, critical bills and cash‑funding requirements.
• Execute domestic and international bank transfers and treasury activities.
• Monitor balances across UAE and international bank accounts.
• Administer corporate card programmes, expense tracking and statement reviews.
• Handle banking relationships, KYC requests and account opening processes.
• Run monthly payroll, WPS submissions and employee reimbursements.
• Maintain payroll, bonus and compensation records.
• Prepare monthly financial information for external accountants.
• Perform bank, card and broker reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Review financial reports and statements prepared by external accountants.
• Support VAT, corporate tax and broader compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, accountants and tax advisors.
• Assist with corporate documentation, board resolutions and record keeping.
• Manage financial reporting and cash tracking across multiple entities.
• Support private‑wealth and banking relationship activities.
• Conduct occasional in‑person banking and administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury or financial operations.
• UAE‑based with strong knowledge of local banking practices and WPS payroll.
• Proven experience managing payments, invoices and bank reconciliations.
• Direct experience dealing with banks and external financial service providers.
• Strong understanding of treasury, cash management and financial controls.
• Exposure to VAT, tax compliance, audits and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting multiple entities and complex financial operations.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA or CFA preferred.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
