Firefighter – MELABS RFFS (ARFF) in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Firefighter to join our Rescue & Firefighting Services (RFFS) at a designated airfield in Dubai. The role involves providing Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) services in line with ICAO Category 5 standards and responding to a wide range of emergencies on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ARFF operations for civilian and military aircraft according to ICAO Category 5 requirements.
• Respond to fire, building, facility, storm, gas leak, water main burst, vehicle accident, hazardous material and de‑contamination incidents.
• Coordinate with airport authorities and emergency services during incidents.
• Maintain fire‑fighting equipment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Participate in training, drills and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in fire/rescue services.
• At least 2 years as a firefighter at an ICAO Category 5 airfield.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
