First Officer – A320

About the role

Etihad is seeking an experienced A320 First Officer to join its rapidly expanding fleet in Abu Dhabi. You will work alongside the Captain to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations while developing your leadership skills for future command.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Captain with flight preparation, navigation, and aircraft operation.
• Continuously monitor aircraft position, terrain, and weather to support safe navigation.
• Provide clear communication and decision‑support to the Captain.
• Uphold Etihad’s standards of discipline, conduct, and personal appearance.
• Assume command in the event of Captain incapacitation, following company procedures.

Required profile

• Hold a valid Airbus A320 type rating.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours (or meet alternative criteria as defined by Etihad).
• Demonstrated professionalism, technical competence, and teamwork.
• Ability to develop leadership capabilities for future promotion to Captain.
