Flight Analyst – Revenue Management

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking a Flight Analyst to support revenue management across its global network. The role focuses on turning data into actionable inventory decisions, forecasting demand, and influencing commercial strategies that keep aircraft full and profitable.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast no‑show and cancellation trends and optimise over‑booking strategies.
• Leverage PROS and other data sources to identify inventory trends and recommend actions.
• Manage inventory during peak periods using market insights and historical demand patterns.
• Monitor forward booking trends, analyse route performance and highlight deviations.
• Partner with Revenue Management, Market and Group teams to correct forecast imbalances.
• Collaborate with Network Operations and Airport Managers to proactively manage flights with potential denied‑boarding situations.
• Design inventory management approaches for redemption and non‑revenue travel initiatives.
• Produce reporting that demonstrates performance trends and commercial impact.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Commercial acumen with a passion for aviation and revenue optimisation.
• Experience in revenue management, pricing, forecasting or related commercial functions.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to influence cross‑functional decisions.
