Flight Engineer – ACJ

About the role

The Flight Engineer (ACJ) will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of VIP aircraft operated by DC Aviation Al Futtaim. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role involves supervising maintenance activities, certifying completed work, and guaranteeing on‑time, safe dispatch of aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with licences, approvals and regulatory requirements.
• Issue Certificates of Release to Service for all released work.
• Supervise and allocate maintenance staff to achieve efficient defect rectification.
• Monitor resource utilisation and advise the Maintenance Manager of any potential service disruptions.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Verify that replacement parts are approved, correctly certified and inspected before installation.

Required profile

• Valid aircraft maintenance licence or equivalent approval.
• Experience in maintaining ACJ or similar VIP aircraft.
• Strong understanding of aviation safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead a maintenance team and communicate effectively with management.
