Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor ensures seamless service delivery across the hotel’s dining venues, leading a team to meet guest expectations while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to work as a cohesive team and deliver optimal guest service.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall appearance, correcting any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, equipment checks, and securing the premises.
• Maintain storage areas using FIFO principles, ensure cleanliness, and conduct regular inventories.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest wellbeing.
• Create and follow work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
• Enforce company safety, security, and fairness policies, reporting incidents as needed.
• Welcome guests professionally, anticipate needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift and move items up to 50 lb, and navigate stairs or confined spaces.
• Attention to detail for visual inspections and inventory management.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
