Food & Beverage Attendant – Banquets

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Food & Beverage Attendant to join our banquet team at Mövenpick Hotel in Dubai. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service during banquet events, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms – arrange tables, chairs, linens and place settings according to event specifications.
• Greet and welcome guests, creating a positive first impression.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout the event.
• Assist with post‑event breakdown and cleanup.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Participate in pre‑shift briefings and training sessions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a banquet setting.
• Customer‑focused attitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Alcohol service certification.
• Food handling certification.
• Food and beverage service techniques.
• Knowledge of banquet operations and procedures.
