Food & Beverage Captain – Luxury Hotel

About the role

As a Food & Beverage Captain at Swissotel Al Ghurair, you will be the face of exceptional service and cuisine for both business and leisure guests. You will support the outlet manager in delivering smooth, high‑quality operations while ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise waiters and busboys, ensuring service standards are met.
• Set up the outlet for service and maintain mise‑en‑place before and after each shift.
• Provide menu knowledge and advice to guests, handling complaints and queries professionally.
• Coordinate with the Headwaiter or Outlet Manager to plan and deliver continuous skills training.
• Monitor beverage stock, maintain accurate records, and ensure supplies are available.
• Ensure all team members receive adequate training and adhere to hotel performance manuals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the hotel or upscale restaurant industry.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under high pressure and maintain physical stamina (standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs).
• Creative passion for food and customer service.
