Food & Drinks Guest Relations

About the role

Join a prestigious hotel brand as a Food & Drinks Guest Relations professional, delivering exceptional hospitality to every guest. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival, offer seating options, escort them to their tables and present menus.
• Maintain daily log book entries to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
• Set up the dining room, enforce uniform and grooming standards, and assign stations to service staff.
• Conduct roll‑call meetings to brief staff on promotions, specials, guest feedback and events.
• Handle reservations, special functions, opening and closing duties, and side‑work such as cleaning, stocking and napkin folding.
• Support guests by refilling drinks, addressing special requests, and promoting up‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain clear communication between guests, management and service teams, and attend required meetings.

Required profile

• Knowledge of restaurant operations, staffing levels, service equipment and guest relations.
• Strong English reading skills to understand guest requests, memos, reservations and promotional material.
• Ability to move confidently in a busy dining area and to handle customer complaints with empathy and proactive solutions.
