Food Production Supervisor – Hands-On Operations

About the role

The Food Production Supervisor will lead daily food production and packing operations on the shop floor. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role that requires leading from the front, driving speed, discipline, hygiene and output.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily food production and packing operations.
• Manage and direct a team of 7+ production staff.
• Ensure production targets, packing output and shift deadlines are achieved.
• Own daily cleaning, sanitation and end‑of‑shift shutdown.
• Monitor product quality, batch consistency and food safety standards.
• Handle machine setup, operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Allocate manpower based on bottlenecks and workload.
• Reduce wastage, downtime and inefficiencies.
• Ensure proper stock movement, FIFO, labeling and traceability.
• Report daily production numbers, issues and action plans.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years experience in central kitchen, food manufacturing, airline catering or high‑volume food production.
• Strong leadership and floor discipline.
• Experience with food safety / HACCP systems.
• Experience with packing lines, prep flow and team scheduling.
• Comfortable getting hands dirty and working under pressure.

Required skills

• Machine setup, operation and basic troubleshooting.
• HACCP and food safety standards.
• Packing line operation.
• FIFO stock management, labeling and traceability.

• Salary AED 5,500–6,000 per month plus performance bonus after probation.
