Food Services Supervisor – All Day Dining (Kitchen Six)

About the role

The Food Services Supervisor will lead the All Day Dining team in Kitchen Six, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences at JW Marriott Dubai. This full‑time position requires hands‑on leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect grooming, attire, and overall appearance of team members, correcting deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies, equipment cleaning, and securing the area.
• Maintain organized storage areas using FIFO principles and ensure cleanliness.
• Conduct regular inventories, stock requisitions, and manage work orders for maintenance.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and report incidents promptly.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising food‑service or dining operations in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Ability to work extended periods standing, walking, or sitting.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Strong visual inspection skills for tools, equipment, and storage areas.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
