About the role
The Food Trading Manager will drive trading initiatives across Al‑Futtaim’s Food Business Unit in the MENA region, working closely with store and support teams to optimise merchandising and enhance the customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a Trading Calendar, trading metrics and guidelines for food hall operations.
- Coach and support retail teams to achieve best‑in‑class merchandising standards.
- Lead multiple transformation projects, monitoring timelines and resolving issues.
- Guide regional and store managers through project implementation and post‑review phases.
- Ensure visual standards for product launches on the sales floor and back‑of‑house areas.
Required profile
- Proven experience in retail trading, merchandising or category management.
- Strong leadership and change‑management capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
