FP&A Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The FP&A Analyst will support NAFFCO’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting. You will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights that drive cost control and improve financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long‑term financial models.
• Collect, validate and consolidate financial and operational data from all departments.
• Produce monthly management reports, dashboards and performance summaries.
• Perform variance analysis (budget‑to‑actual, forecast‑to‑actual, YoY) and investigate material variances.
• Build and maintain financial models for scenario analysis and decision‑making.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins, cash flow, CAPEX and key KPIs.
• Assist month‑end and year‑end close activities and review supporting schedules.
• Coordinate budget inputs, forecasts and assumptions with department heads.
• Monitor departmental spend and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Prepare ad‑hoc financial analysis for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis or management reporting.
• UAE/GCC experience, preferably in construction, engineering, manufacturing or commercial sectors.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, modelling).
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools like Power BI.
• Financial modelling and quantitative analysis.
