Front Desk Agent – Guest Services (Dubai)

About the role

The Front Desk Agent will be the first point of contact for guests at our Dubai property, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences. You will manage reservations, handle payments and provide accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, confirm and process all guest check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, cancellations and payment verification.
• Activate and file room keys, maintain contingency guest lists for emergency situations.
• Respond to guest requests, relay messages to relevant departments and record wake‑up call requests.
• Run daily reports, complete cashier and closing reports, and manage cash handling at the start and end of each shift.
• Process various payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid‑outs and miscellaneous charges.
• Notify loss prevention/security of any theft reports and follow all company policies regarding safety and confidentiality.
• Provide guests with directions, information on property services, operating hours and local points of interest.

Required profile

• Professional appearance with a clean and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, using clear and professional language.
• Physical ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the capacity to support colleagues and achieve common goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using hotel property management systems for reservations, billing and reporting.
• Basic cash handling and accounting skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem‑solving abilities.
