Full Stack Engineer – React & Node.js (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern, responsive web applications and the Node.js services that power them. You will work across the stack—from React components to APIs, business logic, and data access—within an Agile delivery team in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accessible, performant UI using ReactJS, TypeScript, functional components, hooks, and state‑management libraries (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query).
• Translate Figma designs into pixel‑perfect, reusable components that follow the design system, theming, and accessibility guidelines, including RTL and localisation support.
• Optimize front‑end performance (bundle size, code‑splitting, lazy loading, Core Web Vitals) and handle real‑time data via WebSockets or server‑sent events.
• Design, build, and maintain Node.js services and APIs with Express, NestJS or Fastify, documenting RESTful and/or GraphQL contracts.
• Integrate with internal/third‑party systems, message queues, and streaming data sources.
• Model, query, and optimise relational and NoSQL data stores, writing efficient queries, indexes and migrations.
• Implement authentication, authorisation, input validation, and secure coding practices aligned with OWASP Top 10.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, Cypress) and keep the build green.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, containerised builds, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, UX designers and QA to refine user stories, define acceptance criteria and provide production support.

Required profile

• Experience in trading, capital markets or fintech is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile team, communicate clearly with cross‑functional stakeholders, and produce technical documentation.
