Futures Derivatives Trader

About the role

MA Capital is seeking an experienced Futures Derivatives Trader to manage firm capital across multiple exchanges. The role involves developing and executing systematic, semi-systematic, or discretionary strategies on CME, CBOT, Comex, ICE, and CFE.

Key responsibilities

• Generate consistent positive cash flow while maintaining strict risk discipline.
• Maintain portfolio exposure within firm parameters and adjust strategies based on real‑time market data.
• Build, deploy, and refine systematic or semi‑systematic trading strategies.
• Take full ownership of trading decisions, PnL, and drawdowns.
• Communicate current technology stack and collaborate with engineers on tool requirements.
• Manage capital efficiency, focusing on return‑on‑capital and risk‑adjusted performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of buy‑side futures trading experience on CME, CBOT, Comex, ICE, or CFE.
• Proven track record of profitable strategies such as spread, calendar, curve trading, arbitrage, or butterflies.
• Strong understanding of risk management, order management, and regulatory compliance.
• Consistent, structured decision‑making with strict risk discipline.
