Game Development Instructor Intern – Dubai & Abu Dhabi

About the role

Ascend Innovations is seeking a Game Development Instructor Intern to join its hands‑on learning programmes in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The role combines teaching fundamentals of game creation with practical support for student projects, using industry‑standard tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assist learners during practical sessions on UEFN, Minecraft Education and Unity.
• Explain basic game development concepts in a clear, engaging manner.
• Support the creation and testing of game prototypes and real‑time projects.
• Provide one‑on‑one guidance to help students develop their own game projects.
• Collaborate with senior instructors to prepare lesson materials and resources.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about game development and teaching.
• Good communication skills and patience when working with children and young learners.
• Basic practical experience with game development tools or personal projects.
• Student, fresh graduate or aspiring game developer.

Required skills

• UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite)
• Minecraft Education
• Unity
• Unreal Engine (preferred)
• Blender / 3D modelling (preferred)
• Coding / Scripting (preferred)
• Basic game design and prototyping
