General Accountant – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a General Accountant to join our client’s finance team in Dubai on a six‑month contract. The role supports the accounts payable function, handling data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and verify large volumes of accounting data with high accuracy.
• Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring timely settlement.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, petty cash statements, and expense reports.
• Assist in month‑end closing activities and generate financial reports.
• Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documents.
• Support auditors by providing required documentation and records.
• Generate Excel reports using formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Understanding of confidentiality and data security requirements.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
