General Accountant – Arabic Speaker

About the role

AL MAIMANA Accounting & Bookkeeping is seeking a General Accountant who is fluent in Arabic and English to support multiple clients in Dubai. The role involves hands‑on bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, and filing of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax returns. Immediate joining (within 1‑2 days) is required.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for several clients.
• Record and review sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare trial balances and monthly accounting reports.
• Identify and correct discrepancies in client records.
• Visit client offices when needed to review supporting documents.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and ensure Corporate Tax compliance.

Required profile

• Native or fluent Arabic speaker.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years of practical UAE accounting experience.
• Ability to handle accounting work for multiple clients independently.
• Availability to join within 1‑2 days.
