General Accountant – Gold Trading Experience Mandatory

About the role

ESLY Signature Gold Trading LLC is looking for a meticulous General Accountant to oversee daily accounting and financial operations within a gold trading environment. The role requires hands‑on experience with gold inventory, commodity accounting, and the Orosoft Technovating Metals system.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting and bookkeeping.
• Maintain accurate daily financial records and perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Reconcile physical gold inventory with accounting records and value stock movements.
• Record and reconcile gold purchases, sales, and pricing fluctuations.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer/supplier ageing.
• Calculate, reconcile, and file UAE VAT (5%) and support UAE corporate tax (9%) compliance.
• Assist with payroll, MOHRE/WPS requirements, and external audit documentation.
• Support AML/CFT compliance related to high‑value gold transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, specifically in a gold trading company.
• Hands‑on experience with Orosoft Technovating Metals software.
• Strong understanding of gold inventory and commodity accounting.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
