General Accountant

About the role

The First Group Hospitality is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented General Accountant to manage the day‑to‑day financial operations of a premium hospitality and equestrian destination. As the property’s sole on‑site finance representative, you will oversee the full accounting cycle and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complete Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions for the property.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, customer invoicing and collections.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Reconcile revenue across memberships, riding activities, events, F&B, retail and other business units.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare VAT schedules and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
• Maintain fixed‑asset and inventory records and support internal and external audits.
• Liaise with banks, vendors and internal departments on financial matters.
