General Cashier / Finance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a General Cashier/Finance Officer to oversee cash handling, reconciliation and financial reporting for our 5‑star resort in Dubai. The role ensures accurate processing of cash and credit‑card transactions and supports the finance team in day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash handling, deposits, and cash reconciliation.
• Verify and process cash and credit‑card transactions and prepare daily cash reports.
• Reconcile cash, credit cards, bank transactions and other payment methods.
• Maintain records of cash receipts, deposits and financial documents.
• Monitor outstanding payments, assist with accounts payable/receivable and general accounting activities.
• Conduct regular cash counts, investigate discrepancies and support month‑end closing.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, financial controls and confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality finance environment (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of cash handling, reconciliation and basic accounting principles.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
