General Counsel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Counsel to join our leadership team in Dubai. The role will act as a strategic legal partner, providing guidance on corporate governance, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted legal advisor to executive leadership and business stakeholders.
• Develop and execute legal strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee corporate governance, compliance programs, and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage complex commercial agreements.
• Provide legal support for strategic transactions, partnerships, investments and expansion initiatives.
• Manage litigation, disputes, investigations and relationships with external counsel.
• Establish effective legal processes, policies and risk‑management frameworks.
• Lead and develop the legal function while ensuring high standards of integrity and professionalism.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• 12+ years of legal experience, including significant corporate/in‑house counsel experience.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, corporate law, compliance and regulatory matters.
• Experience working in a multinational or high‑growth organization.
• Proven ability to advise senior executives and influence business decisions.
• Experience managing complex negotiations, transactions and legal risks.
