General Ledger Accountant

About the role

The General Ledger Accountant will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and company policies. You will post transactions in SAP, reconcile payroll and intercompany balances, and prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis. The role also supports internal and external audits and drives process improvements through automation.

Key responsibilities

• Post accounting entries in SAP and ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Prepare monthly OPEX, income‑statement and ad‑hoc reports, including variance analysis.
• Execute month‑end close activities, accruals, and internal management submissions.
• Perform payroll, intercompany and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support statutory and local GAAP financial statement preparation.
• Assist commercial finance with budgeting, forecasting and OPEX analysis.
• Provide data and documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial accounting, month‑end close, and variance analysis.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a multi‑entity or global environment.
