General Manager

About the role

La Vita Landscapes seeks an experienced General Manager to steer the company through its next phase of growth. You will be accountable for all operational facets, from project delivery to financial performance, while shaping a high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across all departments, including projects, sales, procurement, finance and support.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Improve systems, processes and accountability to boost efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor project profitability, costs, productivity and overall business performance.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, market share and client satisfaction.
• Lead business development efforts and nurture relationships with key clients, consultants, developers and partners.
• Recruit, develop and manage a high‑performing team, setting clear KPIs and performance targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of management experience, preferably in landscaping, construction, contracting, facilities management or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing large operational teams or an entire company.
• Strong understanding of project management, P&L, budgeting and overall business operations.
• Commercially minded with a focus on growth and profitability.
• Excellent communication and client‑management abilities.
• Highly organised, accountable and results‑driven.
