General Practitioner (GP) – Full-time, Dubai

About the role

Aivita Wellness Clinic in DIFC, Dubai is seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join its preventive health and wellness team. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical consultations, conducting clinical assessments, and supporting patients in managing acute and chronic conditions within a modern, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical consultations, physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Review medical histories, laboratory results, medications, allergies and health risk factors.
• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions within the approved scope of practice.
• Order, interpret and act on laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations.
• Develop individualized treatment, prevention and follow‑up plans, including suitability for IV therapies.
• Explain proposed treatments, benefits, limitations and risks, and obtain informed consent.
• Prescribe medications in line with regulations and clinical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the clinic’s EMR system.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director, nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in clinical governance, infection control and quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• MBBS, MBChB, MD or equivalent primary medical qualification from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an approved medical internship.
• Minimum 2 years of post‑internship clinical experience.
• Valid DHA professional license to practice in the UAE.
