General Surgery Registrar – Dubai

About the role

The Saudi German Hospital Dubai is looking for a qualified General Surgery Registrar to join its surgical team. This full‑time position involves diagnosing, treating and managing patients with a variety of general surgical conditions while working under senior surgeons.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with general surgical conditions under senior supervision.
• Assist in surgical procedures and deliver comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative care.
• Conduct examinations, obtain histories and develop treatment plans collaboratively.
• Participate in emergency assessments, ward rounds, outpatient clinics and on‑call duties.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with hospital standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) recognised by UAE authorities.
• Residency training or postgraduate qualification in General Surgery.
• Valid DHA licence, DHA eligibility letter or transferable UAE medical licence.
• Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience in General Surgery.
• Strong decision‑making, communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills
