General Surgery Registrar

About the role

Saudi German Hospital Dubai is seeking a General Surgery Registrar to join its surgical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care under the supervision of senior surgeons, participating in both inpatient and outpatient services, and contributing to emergency and elective procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with a wide range of general surgical conditions.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative care.
• Conduct patient examinations, obtain histories, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Participate in emergency assessments, ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and on‑call duties.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) recognized by UAE authorities.
• Residency training or postgraduate qualification in General Surgery.
• Relevant clinical experience in General Surgery, preferably in a recognized healthcare facility.
• Valid DHA license, DHA eligibility letter, or transferable UAE medical license.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, communication, and teamwork abilities.
