General Technician – HVAC

About the role

Minor Hotels is seeking a reliable General Technician to join the Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel team. You will be responsible for keeping all hotel equipment and systems operating safely and efficiently, supporting a high‑standard guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using technical manuals and drawings.
• Execute repairs while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritising urgent issues and documenting work performed.
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and share knowledge.
• Maintain clean, organised work areas that comply with safety regulations.
