General Technician

About the role

The General Technician ensures the smooth operation of all technical equipment and systems within the hotel. Working on a diverse range of machinery, you will support daily operations, minimise downtime, and uphold safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance on chillers, freezers, split units, air handling units (AHU), fan coils and cold rooms.
• Maintain accurate equipment logs, repair records and spare‑part inventories.
• Install, calibrate and set up new equipment and systems as required.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Support and guide junior technicians or apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with other departments to resolve technical issues affecting service delivery.
