Glass Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Glass Technician to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, installing, and repairing a variety of glass products across residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, install, replace, and repair glass doors, windows, mirrors, partitions, shower enclosures, shopfronts and other glazing systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements and installation instructions.
• Install and adjust aluminum frames, channels, fittings, hinges, handles and related accessories.
• Apply silicone, sealants, adhesives and glazing compounds correctly.
• Safely remove damaged glass and prepare areas for replacement.
• Inspect completed work for alignment, fitting, finish quality and safety compliance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment and suction lifters safely.
• Identify and report material damage, installation issues or safety hazards.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors and site workers, and maintain tools in good condition.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Glass Technician, Glazier or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of glass installation, glazing materials and related processes.
• Ability to read measurements and basic technical drawings.
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
• Strong teamwork, communication and safety awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience using measuring equipment and suction lifters.
• Application of silicone, sealants, adhesives and glazing compounds.
