Global Buyer

About the role

The Global Buyer will lead the procurement of raw materials for CPL Aromas, ensuring that demand is met daily and safety stocks are accurately maintained across all manufacturing sites. This role works closely with local buyers and the Global Procurement team to optimise purchasing processes and drive cost savings.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse raw‑material demand and execute purchase orders daily in collaboration with local buyers.
• Maintain and update global safety stocks in D365 based on sales forecasts.
• Ensure all purchase orders have confirmed delivery dates and keep supplier lead times current.
• Centralise purchasing of non‑commodity raw materials to achieve group‑wide savings.
• Support local buyers during holidays, illness or periods of high demand.
• Streamline and harmonise the global buying process.
• Keep purchasing parameters (lead times, pack sizes, min/max quantities) up to date in D365.
• Coordinate small‑order purchasing across manufacturing sites to obtain best pricing.
• Participate in daily production meetings and act to mitigate raw‑material shortages.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting local procurement teams in a global environment.
• Strong analytical skills for safety‑stock and demand analysis.
• Ability to maintain accurate data in ERP systems, particularly D365.
• Excellent communication to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
