Global Compliance & Reporting Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager for its Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team in Abu Dhabi. The role leads complex tax engagements, managing client compliance and reporting while driving practice growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team to provide tax services and manage client compliance and reporting needs.
• Establish and maintain internal and external relationships to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Oversee day‑to‑day client engagements, monitor progress, implement standardized processes, identify and mitigate risks, and drive performance improvements.
• Supervise high‑performing teams, foster a learning culture, and coach junior members.
• Ensure adherence to Tax Quality guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation or a related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master) or professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in domestic and international tax rules, tax accounting and tax auditing, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Proven managerial, organizational and project‑management experience.
• Experience working with multinational clients in a multicultural environment.
• Strong commercial, legislative and industry knowledge.
