Global Cyber Security Manager

About the role

A globally recognised French luxury house is looking for a Cyber Security Manager to build its cybersecurity function from scratch, with responsibility spanning the UAE, France and wider international operations. This is a genuine greenfield role: you will set the roadmap, standards and governance rather than inherit a finished function. The position is permanent, based in Dubai, with a competitive package.

Key responsibilities

• Own cybersecurity across a complex, multi-entity environment, combining strategy with hands-on delivery.
• Set the security roadmap and strengthen cloud and identity controls.
• Improve monitoring and detection and ensure the business has the right governance as it scales.
• Work heavily on Azure, IAM, network security and SIEM/XDR platforms, and help the business prepare for AI-driven threats.
• Manage stakeholders closely with the IT Director and senior teams across different markets, balancing security, business needs and transformation priorities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of dedicated cybersecurity experience, including management or lead-level responsibility.
• Strong UAE experience and currently based in the country.
• Proven track record delivering security programmes in complex, multi-entity or international organisations.
• Experience building or scaling security frameworks rather than only operating within established ones.
• CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification is required.
• Experience in European markets, or in luxury, retail, manufacturing or fast-scaling digital environments, is a strong fit.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Azure, IAM, network security and SIEM/XDR platforms.
• Good understanding of cloud security, governance and enterprise security architecture.
